The safety and well-being of our business partners and guests is our top priority at the Utah Valley Convention Center. Our cleaning procedures are thorough and comprehensive and following recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and local authorities, our staff has increased the frequency of our efforts to disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, escalators, elevator buttons, and bathrooms. In addition, we have hand sanitizer dispensers located around the facility.
Our staff, partners, and guests are encouraged to remain vigilant and follow standard health precautions, such as consistent hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes, and following other routine hygiene protocols. We encourage individuals who are sick to stay home.
Additionally, Spectra’s corporate office has created a Task Force to provide guidance to all Spectra-managed venues. Our designated corporate liaison, as part of our internal Coronavirus Working Group, is in contact with the CDC. We have also created a Coronavirus Resource Center on our employee intranet, which outlines up-to-date recommendations from the CDC and World Health Organization, as well as industry associations like the International Association of Venue Managers.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation, so that we can quickly make adjustments should the CDC or local authorities recommend different or amended procedures and precautionary measures.
