The Director of Operations manages, supervises and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the venue, including but not limited to engineering, maintenance, set-up/changeovers, custodial/building services, landscaping/grounds, and security.
The Assistant Banquet Manager is responsible for overseeing the direction of the banquet departments daily activities in accordance with our policies and objectives to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability, and a positive, productive and compliant work environment.
The Operations Supervisor supervises and coordinates event setup activities and operations for the facility and provides responsible staff assistance to the Director of Event Operations.
Under direct supervision from the Operations Manager the Facility Operations Technicians perform event set-up and tear down, custodial, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks as assigned.
The Building Services Attendant performs a variety of tasks related to custodial and cleaning services before an event, during an event, and after an event.
Facility Security is responsible for shipping and receiving items within the Utah Valley Convention Center along with the prevention, detection and reporting of safety concerns on UVCC property; assists staff, clients and visitors to the facility.
The Banquet Server is responsible for attending to all food and beverage needs for our guest. Servers will work several different types of events including buffets, served meals, buffet receptions, served cocktail parties, weddings, and other types of events.
The Prep Cook is responsible for food prep, cooking, and cleaning kitchen and dishes. Clean, cut, or peel foods to prepare them for cooking and arranging on serving dishes. Kitchen employees follow directions from executive chef. In addition, food preparation workers clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
Under general supervision, the AV Technician assists in performing responsible technical work within the Audiovisual department; Sets up, operates, and strikes audiovisual equipment for events and performances in the convention center.
